I am so excited to be starting my eighth year teaching at River Heights School. My teaching assignment is fabulous! I am so fortunate to be able to teach the entire student body again. (Yeah!) I will teach music each and every morning and then grade four during the afternoons.  Mrs. Pahl, Miss Avinou and I will be teaching the amazing grade four classes this year.  I am so blessed because I get to explore, create and reflect with all of the students in this school. Teaching music is my absolute passion and I am thrilled!

As a child, I was raised in a very musical family and participated in piano, cello, orchestra, singing and choir, kodaly and dance. I attended my first opera when I was six years old.  I remember being fascinated seeing the live animals on the stage during Aida.

My first teaching assignment was at Herald School where I taught music and math. I also have experience teaching kindergarten and grade three.  I am so thankful to have returned as a music teacher and look forward to many successful years at this tremendous school.

I love to read, attend concerts, go to movies with my family and friends, spend time with my husband and sons, be with my friends and family members and travel.  Most of all, I love to teach!  It is going to be a wonderful year!
